Turn a prompt into an editable presentation
An AI presentation maker turns a short prompt into a starting deck — titles, bullet points, tables, charts and diagrams — built on one of 16 designed templates (Minimal, Dark Tech, Startup Pitch, Corporate and more). The AI only ever writes structured content; your template controls every visual detail, so the result looks designed, not auto-generated.
Edit every slide — text, tables, charts, diagrams, images, shapes, icons, code and layout — in a three-column editor, present it full-screen, then export a real PPTX, print-quality PDF or PNG.
How to create a presentation with AI
From a one-line prompt to an editable, exportable deck:
- Choose a template — one of 16 designed styles in the gallery.
- Or import an existing PowerPoint (.pptx) and redesign it with that template, keeping your content.
- Tell AI what to create — describe your topic in a sentence or two.
- Choose which content types to include, like tables, charts and diagrams — the AI decides how many slides your topic needs.
- Generate your presentation — the AI writes structured slide content in seconds.
- Edit every slide — text, tables, charts, diagrams, images, layout and more.
- Present directly in your browser, or export as PPTX, PDF or PNG.
AI Presentation Maker features
- Design stays consistent. The AI never controls layout, spacing or typography — your chosen template does, on every slide.
- Redesign an existing deck. Import a .pptx and rebuild it on a designed template — your words, images, tables and charts are preserved while the layout, typography and spacing are replaced. Unsupported PowerPoint features are listed rather than dropped silently.
- A full slide editor. Add and edit text, images, tables, charts, diagrams, shapes, icons and code blocks on any slide, and change a slide's layout after generation.
- Diagrams that lay themselves out. Describe an architecture and get a clean node-and-connection diagram — positions are computed automatically, never dictated by the AI.
- AI Improve, one slide at a time. Ask the AI to refine a single slide's content without touching the rest of the deck.
- Present directly, or export a real file. Run a full-screen Present mode with speaker notes, or export a real PPTX (native shapes, tables and charts), a print-quality PDF, or a PNG.
- Key never in the browser. Generation runs through our own secure server; the AI provider key is never in your client or requests.
Who is it for?
- Students and researchers. Turn a topic or study summary into a first draft deck to refine, instead of starting from a blank slide.
- Founders and product teams. Draft a pitch or product-update deck fast, then edit and restyle it before a real meeting.
- Engineers and architects. Explain a system design or technical concept, complete with an auto-laid-out architecture diagram.
- Anyone preparing a talk. Go from a rough idea to a structured, editable set of slides in one step.
What is an AI presentation maker?+
An AI presentation maker turns a short text prompt into a starting deck — titles, bullet points, tables, charts and diagrams — that you can then edit like a normal presentation. In EditMyStuff's AI Presentation Maker, the AI only ever writes structured content; the template you choose controls every visual detail, so the result looks properly designed, not like a raw AI guess.
Can I create a PowerPoint presentation with AI?+
Yes. Describe your topic and the AI generates a full deck with a title slide, body slides and a closing slide. Edit every slide, then export it as a real, PowerPoint-compatible PPTX file with native shapes, tables and charts — not a flattened screenshot.
Can I choose the number of slides?+
You don't have to. The AI reads your prompt and decides how many slides the topic actually needs, so you never guess a number up front — describe what you want to present and it picks a sensible length. You can add, duplicate or delete slides freely in the editor afterwards, and you still choose which content types — tables, charts, diagrams, timelines and more — it should prioritise.
Can I choose a presentation template?+
Yes. Pick one of 16 designed templates — Minimal, Dark Tech, Startup Pitch, Corporate, Gradient, Blueprint, Developer, Product Launch, Academic, Editorial, Glass, Bold, Editorial Press, Quiet Luxury, Visual Strategy and Signal — before you generate. The template sets colors, typography and decoration; the AI never overrides it.
Can I import an existing PowerPoint and redesign it?+
Yes. Choose “Import PowerPoint” on the create screen and upload a .pptx. The deck is read in your browser, then rebuilt with the EditMyStuff template you pick — its layouts, typography, spacing and colour. Your text, images, tables, charts and speaker notes are kept and the slide order and count stay the same; only the design changes. Some PowerPoint features cannot be rebuilt — SmartArt graphics (their text is kept), embedded objects, audio, video and macro-enabled .pptm files — and the import lists exactly which slides were affected before you open the deck.
Is my PowerPoint file uploaded when I import it?+
No. The .pptx is opened and parsed in your browser. Only a short text summary of each slide — its title, a few lines of text, and counts of images, tables and charts — is sent to our AI proxy so the AI can identify what each slide is. Your file, your images, your chart values and your table contents are never sent anywhere.
Can I edit the AI-generated presentation?+
Yes, completely. Every slide opens in a full editor with slide thumbnails, a live canvas and a properties panel. You can edit text, tables, charts, diagrams, images, shapes, icons and code blocks, and add or remove elements on any slide.
Can I add charts and tables?+
Yes. Add a chart (bar, line, pie or donut) or a table from the slide editor's Add menu, and edit their data directly — chart series and table cells are editable, not static images.
Can I add diagrams to a presentation?+
Yes. Add an architecture, flow or process diagram; the AI (or you) supplies the nodes and connections, and the layout is computed automatically so nodes never overlap or run off the slide.
Can I change a slide layout after generation?+
Yes. Every slide has a layout (title, two-column, comparison, big-number, timeline, table, chart, diagram, quote and more) that you can switch manually from the properties panel, or ask the AI to change while it preserves the existing content.
Can AI improve an individual slide?+
Yes. The "Improve" action sends one slide's content and a short instruction (e.g. "make this more concise") to the AI, which returns an updated version of just that slide — the rest of your deck is untouched.
Can I present the slideshow directly?+
Yes. Present mode runs a full-screen slideshow with keyboard navigation (arrow keys, space, escape), entrance and transition animations, and speaker notes.
Can I export the presentation as PowerPoint?+
Yes. Export produces a real .pptx file with native, editable PowerPoint shapes, tables and charts — not a rendered image.
Can I export the presentation as PDF?+
Yes. Export the deck as a print-quality PDF.
Can I export slides as PNG?+
Yes. Export the current slide as a PNG image.
Does the presentation maker support presentation templates?+
16 designed templates are built in, each with its own color palette, typography and decorative style. Preview them in the template gallery and choose one before generating.
What can I include in an AI-generated presentation?+
Text, bullet points, images (your own uploads, with AI-suggested prompts for what to look for), tables, charts, diagrams, timelines, comparison columns, statistics, icons and code blocks — the AI prioritises whichever content types you select before generating.
Where do slide images come from?+
The AI can suggest what an image slot should show, but it never invents an image URL. You upload the actual image yourself; until then a themed placeholder with the AI's suggestion is shown.
Is my API key or content sent anywhere unsafe?+
Generation runs through our own secure server-side proxy — the AI provider key never reaches your browser, the client bundle, or any request you send.
