Terms of use

Last updated:

These terms apply when you use editmystuff.in, which is run by Vikas Rajput, an individual based in Delhi, India. By using the site you agree to them.

  1. The tools. EditMyStuff offers browser-based tools. Some features use AI or our server; the privacy policy says what each one sends. Tools may change, be limited or be removed.
  2. Your content. What you open, write or create stays yours. You’re responsible for having the right to use it.
  3. Fair use. Don’t use the site to break the law or anyone’s rights. Don’t try to get around free-use limits or credits, attack or overload the site, or send automated requests to our server functions. Only unlock PDFs you own or have permission to use.
  4. AI output can be wrong. Check AI answers, code, diagrams, feedback and field names before you rely on them.
  5. Estimates and guides aren’t professional advice. The ITR-1 calculator gives an estimate; the tax assessed on the income-tax portal is what counts. Blog guides (tax, legal notices, interviews and others) are general information, not legal, tax or financial advice.
  6. Signatures. Sign PDF adds a visible signature (drawn, typed or uploaded) to the page. It isn’t a certificate-based digital signature, and whether it’s accepted depends on who you send it to.
  7. Age. Anyone can use the tools without an account. Signing in (creating an account) and buying credits require you to be 18 or older.
  8. Accounts. Sign-in is with Google. You’re responsible for your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
  9. Credits. Credits pay for AI requests after the free uses. They have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and don’t expire. A credit is returned automatically when an AI request fails, or when your own API key paid for it. Credit packs are one-time purchases paid through Razorpay; the refund and cancellation policy covers them. Reel Studio is paid with bought credits only (next item).
  10. Reel Studio. Reel Studio makes short AI videos and images. It’s in beta: anyone signed in can use it. When you use it:
    • Price and credits. A video, an image or a voiceover is paid with bought credits only; free credits don’t pay for them. The price is shown in credits on the button, and nothing is charged until you press it. If the price has gone up by the time you press, nothing is charged and the new price is shown. If a video or image fails, is blocked by the video service’s safety check, or is canceled, its credits come back to your balance automatically; so does the credit for a voiceover that fails.
    • Content rules. Don’t use Reel Studio to make: sexual content or nudity; anything sexual or harmful involving a child; a real person’s likeness (their face, body or voice) without their consent, including deepfakes and impersonation; hate, harassment, threats or violence against people; anything that encourages self-harm; anything that infringes someone’s copyright or trademark; or false or misleading content about elections, public figures or public events, or anything meant to make people believe something fake is real. Don’t try to get around the safety check.
    • Photos you upload. Upload only photos you have the right to use. Before a photo is sent, you confirm that it’s of you, or that you have permission to use the likeness of everyone in it; we can’t check this, so you’re responsible for it.
    • Safety check. Before anything is made or charged, your idea, any image you attach and your voiceover script are checked automatically (privacy policy, section 12). A blocked request costs nothing. If your requests keep being blocked, or the video service blocks three of your results in a day, your paid use of Reel Studio pauses for 24 hours.
    • The AI label. Every video you download carries a visible “AI-generated” label and a note in its file details that it was made with AI, and so does every image. Don’t remove or hide them, and label what you post as AI-generated wherever the law or the platform you post on asks for it.
    • Results. AI results can be unexpected, and the same idea can come out differently each time. Reel Studio doesn’t promise any particular result, quality, views or reach. You’re responsible for what you make and where you post it.
    • Download within 7 days. Videos and images are deleted by the video service 7 days after they’re made, and can’t be recovered. Download what you want to keep.
    • If these rules are broken. We may refuse requests, pause or suspend the account, keep the credits already used, keep the records the law requires, and report illegal content to the authorities. To report a reel, see Contact.
  11. Availability and liability. The site is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, EditMyStuff isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for credits in the 12 months before the claim.
  12. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Delhi have jurisdiction.
  13. Changes. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
